A downloadable game demo for Windows

Rad Roller is a 3D platformer inspired by the Marble Blast games, with some unique twists. Temporarily turn off or increase gravity on your way to getting the fastest possible time.

**Note: Since this is a demo, I've removed most of the progression so you can play whatever you like. In the main area, jump into the spheres to begin a level. Blue (Day) spheres will be easy, Orange (dusk) will be more challenging remixes, and Black (Night) will be the most difficult version.

You can quickly restart from the pause menu!

Controls (M+KB)

  • Move - WASD
  • Look - Mouse
  • Jump - Space
  • Float (Turn off gravity for one second) - Hold Space while airborne
  • Sink (increase gravity) - Right Mouse Button
  • Pause - Esc

Controls (Xbox 360 Controller)

  • Move - Left Stick
  • Look - Right Stick
  • Jump - A button
  • Float (Turn off gravity for one second) - Hold A while airborne
  • Sink (increase gravity) - Right Trigger
  • Pause - Start

Really needs a lot of work. I don't think the 'right mouse to fall faster' control scheme works at all. I also think you should be able to use the arrow keys as well as WASD. It wasn't clear what was happening at the end of the tutorial, nor that the big purple circles took you to the next level instead of just being another obstacle. In the first level I gave up because the ball was obscured by the timer so I couldn't see what was happening.
